Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Toni Collins, also known as Antonietta Gonzalez-Collins in both the United States and Mexico, is an American-Mexican sportscaster. Her current job is with ESPN as a anchor for SportsCenter and sometimes hosts SportsNation. Her first job at ESPN in the year 2016. She is the daughter of the reporter for television Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta was bilingual by the time she turned nine. The ability that helped her get her first job as a Univision Production Assistant in Miami. She was a producer for national shows such as Nuestra Belleza Latina Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud Primer Impacto. Her first job was as reporter for the CBS St. Petersburg affiliate following that. In 2009, the reporter relocated from St. Petersburg to Rio Grande Valley Texas where she was employed by KNVO TV 48 Univision as well as Fox2 News. In 2009 she made the move into Rio Grande Valley, Texas, where she became a reporter for KNVO 48 Univision and Fox2 News. The station also frequently asked her to fill in as anchors for the weather and sports. Deportes 23 was Univision Dallas affiliate and she assumed other responsibility. She produced pieces about Major League Baseball ALDS ALCS, and World Series as well Dallas Cowboys NBA postseason Finals FC Dallas, and Dallas Stars. She also produced Univision 23 Accion Deportiva Extra as anchor. She was anchor for the sports segment of Despierta America Deportes morning show. It was the same role in Primer Impacto magazine and Contacto Deportivo on the UniMas Network. Antonietta Collins was a native of Veracruz Mexico. In Mexico City she was conceived on the 22nd November 1985. There is also an older sibling. She has an older sister. They divorced shortly thereafter and in 1995 her mother was remarried to an architect from the naval profession known as Fabio Fajardo who died from kidney cancer in the year 2006. It was during a summer vacation that she stayed with her younger sister in Canton Ohio where the older Collins girl was offered the job. Antonietta was a senior high school student however, she had a clear idea of what she wanted to do in her future career. She visited Mount Union University in order to determine if they suited her. The result was that she enjoyed the university and that the school offered the major she wanted. Following the completion of her high school education she was accepted into the university to study media studies. Mark Bergmann, her professor who was also WRMU's 91.1FM station, where she was employed for many years, became an acquaintance. Mark's passion for journalism and confidence in herself encouraged her. In turn, she, tried to meet the standards he set and to not fail him.
